Here is a testimonial from a client who’s dog, Chrome, attended our Camp program. It is so nice to hear the success stories of our clients.

I called Michelle in tears back in April – my 11 month old Australian shepherd was barking at every dog she saw, pulling on her leash, and I was told not to bring her back to coffee at church because she was anxious and barking at the kids. Chrome is a beautiful black tri Aussie and I knew she was not happy – I wanted her to be the best Aussie she could be and I felt like a failure as an owner. Mi<span class=”text_exposed_show”>chelle and her daughter Nicole worked with Chrome in boot camp for 6 weeks and then gave me the tools I needed to work with her at home – Michelle was always available when I texted with questions or concerns. I’ve attached a picture of Chrome as we got ready to march in the July 4th parade with the local animal rescue. Chrome did great – a little anxious when we first arrived but she settled down nicely and walked with the other dogs for the entire parade. She greeted adults, kids, and dogs along the way and I was so proud and happy for her. The parade would have been impossible without the help of Alaska Dog Works – friends who knew her before boot camp were impressed with my well behaved puppy. I’ve spent a lot of time with Chrome at home using the advice and tools Michelle gave us. I know her training will be a lifetime of work and reinforcement but it’s so great to see the change in Chrome. Thanks so much Michell and Nicole for helping my precious little Miss Chrome.”
