K9 Spotlight: Nicole and Molly

We came to AK Dog Works in serious need of help. We had an awful accident with our dog hurting our neighbor’s dog and the aftermath was not pretty. We needed to know if our 1.5 yr old Malamute was indeed needing to be rehomed, as the neighbors were pressuring us to do, or if there was hope for her to safely stay in our home. Not only did Michele and Nicole help train Molly, but they restored my confidence as a dog owner. Michele went above and beyond talking me down from the high emotions of the accident and helping me see Molly was not a “bad dog.” She just needed more training and a more confident owner with proper boundaries. Molly has been to their board and train program, as well as through a series of private training and even passed her AKC Canine Good Citizen test thanks to AK Dog Works and their dedication to helping our entire family understand how to better manage our furry family member.
